Rachael is a management and business development professional with 25 years operational and strategic experience as senior leader, board director and consultant. She has worked in a number of SMEs, where she played a key role in their growth and development.

Through this work, she has gained first-hand experience of the issues faced by SMEs as they grow, including the need to plan and manage growth and to develop and implement sound management systems, processes, and structures to support successful change. Rachael now works as a senior consultant to SMEs, non-profits, and larger corporations.

Her work with SMEs is often business development and strategy focussed. She works with clients on growth and diversification planning and market research and analysis and is often hired to advise and support partnership development and strategic collaboration.

Passionate about helping businesses use their resources wisely to win the right kind of new business, Rachael regularly works with clients on the business development lifecycle as well as BD systems and process strengthening. She provides guidance, support and capacity building on key elements of the BD cycle including company positioning, opportunity assessment, capture planning, proposal planning, development, and review.
